The Sindhi Seva Samiti, established in 1956 by the Sindhi community in Bengaluru, began as a social organization aimed at serving the local Sindhi population while fostering integration with the broader community. Initially starting with a Darbar in the city center, the Samiti has evolved into a hub for the Sindhis of Bengaluru, offering a gathering place for various social and religious events.

In addition to its social activities, the Samiti has placed a strong emphasis on education, founding several institutions that collectively serve around 6,000 students. The Sindhi Group of Educational Institutions is renowned for its high academic standards and is highly regarded by the people of Bengaluru.
