Commitment to Connect
Esteemed members of the Kalpa Vruksh of Sindhi Seva Samiti,
Sabhrinkhe Radheyshyam, Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Jhulelal. Pranaams to Lord Krishna, my parents, my elders, my family for their support and my Guru Sri Saipadananda Radhakrishna Swamiji.
Thank you; to all of you for giving me one more opportunity to sit on this seat of the great King Vikramaditya, yes it is the sacred seat of judgment, of wisdom and of fairness. I pray to Lord Krishna to bless me to fulfill my duties to the best of my ability.
My predecessor Mr. Sanjeev Atmaram has completed his tenure successfully, my compliments to him and his Team. His parting gift to the members - the unique Sindhi Dictionary; was a wonderful gesture indeed. Compilation and publishing it is an arduous and daunting task; however, the National body of National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL) has managed to present it with a lot of detailing. My compliments to them for this great initiative. I urge upon all of you to use it regularly.
In the same breath, I thank all my Kar Sevaks - the Office Bearers and the members of our Seva Mandal of Managing Committee, Governing Council and the Board of Management for accepting to be by my side. Our sub-committees have been formed; we now look forward to their active role in managing the affairs of the Samiti.
Guru Purab: Our tenure began with the blessings of Guru Nanak Sahib with Gurpurab; which was well attended by our community members.
Our Kar Sevaks; the Office Bearers of our Group of Educational Institutions has a combination of new and old hands, hence we had a formal orientation for them called as Marga Darshan . It was well appreciated and now all of them have got going in their assigned duties.
Shikshak ki Shikshavalli - Mindful Mentors was another unique initiative we had for the executives and subject coordinators of our two main Schools. Seva School and College staffs have also been addressed by the respective new Teams.
150 years of the National Song “Vande Mataram” was sung and recorded by all our Institutes; thereafter it was posted on the National website and all have received a Certificate of Appreciation too. My compliments to all of them.
We also celebrated 70 th Kannada Rajyotsava Day in all institutes with great pomp and gaiety. The event was well covered in various media. Our compliments to the concerned departments for the success of this progamme.
Divine Harmony : To bid good bye to 2025 with a heartful of thanks to the Divine, as also to Embrace the magic of new beginnings for 2026, a bhajan programme was organized by our member Mr. Kumar G. The highlight was the Palki yatra. The programme was well appreciated by over 300 people who participated in this event. This was conducted under our Philosophical and Fellowship sub-committees.
Elocution for Evolution : A unique programme designed to sensitize the youth was conducted jointly with NCPSL. The topic given was “Contribution of Sindhi community in the economic development of India post Independence”. The programme was a big success.
Journey of Sindhis : The 3 toppers of the Elocution event presented their papers at the seminar on 04th January 2026. The audience of over 600 to 700 people was overwhelmed listening to our young talented children. This was followed by the screening of the musical, “Journey of Sindhis” by Mr. Mohit Shewani and his team from Bhopal. The programme was an eye opener to the sacrifices, challenges and progress made by our community.
The Chief guest on this occasion was Mr. Shankar Lalwani, Member of Parliament, Dr. Mohan Manghnani, Vice Chairman NCPSL, presided over the event; the programme curator was Dr. Kanayalal Khatwani, Executive member of NCPSL. These two programmes were conducted under the Sindhi Language and Culture sub committee.

The second issue of our newsletter was released on the occasion of Journey event by Dr. Mohan Manghnani.
We are in negotiations with Sindhi artistes from all over India to have some entertaining events for our community here. Professionalization, Long Term Vision, UPSC Coaching Centre, Sneha Seva to address emotional well - being of our community members, Bhima Ratha Shanthi for our Samiti’s 70th year; are some of the programmes I mentioned of in my opening remarks, and we shall concentrate and focus on all these matters.
Let me conclude with an everlasting thought mentioned in our scriptures several centuries ago, reiterated by the Nobel Laureate Bertrand Russell over 100 years ago; and as relevant as ever to our life even to this day: To make our life an enjoyable experience, we have to develop deep intimacy, intense companionship and mutual love with all around us; especially the family. We have to build a connect that keeps us going.
Tavaan sabhrinjo thoraito aahya, ain thoraito aahya Parmatma Shri Krishan jo, hinna maan samaan laaye.
Radheyshyam, Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Jhulelal.
Saadar Pranaam.
